Today I upgraded to a All in one liquid cooler to cool my ryzen 7 3800XT and I connected all the necessary cables to the motherboard but the Rgb will not turn on. The cooler im using is the Msi 240R and the Motherboard is B450 AORUS ELITE PRO. The previous fans hooked up to the motherboard were 12v fans and I'm not sure if hooking them up
To keep things simple and since EKWB doesn't have their own software like the Wraith Prism did, I decided to uninstall all RGB software and run everything off MSI Dragon Center (except the mouse that uses iCUE). Now the motherboard and EKWB components light up fine but the RAM doesn't light up at all. When I first turn on the computer, all
GPU: MSI 4070 ti Gaming X Trio Motherboard: MSI Z790 Gaming Pro Wi-Fi RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6000MHz M.2 SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 2TB PCIe 4.0 CPU Cooler: Corsair H150i Elite Capellix XT Case: Corsair 7000X RGB
The system is working flawlessly and every RGB device outputs the standard rainbow configuration. I want to customize my colors by using Mystic Light in Dragon Center, but my motherboard will not show up in Mystic Light. My 3080 Suprim X from MSI always shows up in Mystic Light, but the motherboard never does.
After restarting my system and launching MSI Center there are now many more modules to install including Mystic Light. I am now able to independently control the RGB on 3090 TI Suprim X via MSI Center. Have not yet figured out how to synchronize the GPU rgb with motherboard or fans, if that’s even possible, only independent control so far.
When you hold the LED switch for 3 seconds it should flash white, which would show it's working. That normally also passes control to the motherboard RGB software if you have the passthrough plugged into it. If the switch isn't working check that the small 2 wire cable for it looks ok. You could unplug that and bridge the pins with something
